Job summary

You will oversee the daily operations of the Central Sterile Processing department, leading a team of certified technicians to ensure instrument readiness for all surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• This position is responsible for the effective direction, management, and operation of all functions of the Central Sterile Processing department.
• Provides analytical support for both financial and operational goals.
• Designs, implements and supports new processes to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Ensures guidelines governing decontamination equipment, chemicals, and sterilization protocols are enforced.
• Oversees surgical instrumentation, sterile disposables, case cart supply inventories, and processing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manages managers, supervisors and/or professional staff.
• Hires, develops and motivates employees to achieve objectives.
• Daily management of multiple exempt and non-exempt staff.
