JOB SUMMARY

Solution Design is responsible for managing the strategic solution development process for customer proposals and ensuring integration within and across functions and business units.

This role will work closely with the VP, Solution Design, Business Development Generalists & Specialists to assess opportunities and create integrated, bespoke proposals for customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Collaborate with Leadership, Business Development, and other key members to create initial solution designs and follow-up actions to convert prospects into awarded work.
  2. Partner with Business Development to align proposed solutions with customer needs.
  3. Coordinate with stakeholder groups within Deployment Solutions and across the organization.
  4. Communicate relevant information to internal partners to facilitate solution design.
  5. Review work throughout the development process to ensure solutions are integrated, aligned, and meet client needs.
  6. Lead follow-up activities post-solution presentation, working through ambiguity as needed.
  7. Keep stakeholders updated on opportunity status and client decision timelines.
  8. Support existing customer programs by analyzing current states and providing insights for evolution based on business needs.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Life Sciences industry or consulting.
  • At least 4 years of Program and Project Management experience in matrixed organizations.
  • Experience in management consulting or services companies (e.g., CRO, CCO).
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and action-oriented work ethic.

The annual base salary ranges from $121,634 to $145,967, depending on qualifications and skills. Additional compensation may include bonuses or commissions based on performance.
