We are seeking an Associate Director, Cyber Architecture and Engineering within our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and manage security strategies for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and addressing evolving threats.
2. Support security operations and incident response through expertise in GCP, including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and remediation.
3. Oversee integration of GCP and Workbench security tools, automation, and processes to create a unified security monitoring system.
4. Stay current with cybersecurity practices, mentor team members, and provide thought leadership in security monitoring and incident response.
5. Drive automation to improve security processes, and document procedures in playbooks and guides.
6. Build strong relationships with internal teams and security vendors to ensure strategy alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of eight years in security architecture, with expertise in GCP and security tooling integration.
2. Bachelor's degree preferred; certifications like CISSP and Google Cloud Security Engineer are desirable.
3. Experience in leading security projects, defining standards, and understanding regulatory requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
4. Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills; ability to influence without authority.
5. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
