Job summary

La Rabida Children’s Hospital seeks an Associate Director of Skill Advancement Coaching Program to lead hiring, training and retention for the SC staff. The role provides ongoing clinical supervision and supports staff development within a pediatric-focused setting.

You will supervise Coaches, coordinate with DCFS and CQI processes, and ensure trauma-informed practice across the program. Strong communication and leadership for a not-for-profit hospital are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy. D. or LCSW/LCPC; IL license required.
• Five years of post-graduate experience with the target pediatric population and supervisory experience.
• Direct coaching/training experience preferred; experience designing training curricula.
• Must possess current Illinois clinical license.
• Knowledge of DCFS foster care system; strong verbal and writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hiring, training and retention for SC staff.
• Provides clinical and administrative supervision to staff and coaches.
• Plans and facilitates training for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Monitors data related to coaching activities and program outcomes.
• Ensures trauma-informed practices and CQI processes are integrated.
