Van Andel Institute (VAI) in Grand Rapids, Michigan, invites applications for a full-time Associate Director of Signature Events. The role partners with the Director of Signature Events to plan and execute fundraising events, lead day-to-day operations, manage budgets and guest experiences, and coordinate across internal teams and vendors.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of seven years of related experience in fundraising events or philanthropy.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with donor databases, event platforms and project management tools.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with the Director to develop annual event plans and long-term engagement strategies.
• Lead planning and execution of assigned signature events, including budgets and guest experiences.
• Develop event plans, timelines, run-of-show documents and planning materials.
• Direct event logistics including venues, catering, staging, and registrations.
• Coordinate rehearsals, staffing, and resolve operational issues during planning and events.
• Serve as liaison with Facilities, Security, Finance, Marketing and vendors.
