Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director- Scheduling to join our US Infrastructure team in New York. This onsite role requires proven leadership to manage scheduling on complex projects or programs.

The candidate will drive scheduling baselines, progress tracking, and reporting while collaborating with clients and partners to ensure delivery success.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of civil infrastructure scheduling experience.
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Ability to contribute to RFP responses.
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scheduling on projects/programs within the Infrastructure team.
  • Develop project milestones and baselines; track progress against plan.
  • Ensure scheduling methodology is followed and integrated with cost/risk.
  • Collaborate with internal/external clients on schedule.
  • Coach and mentor planning team; lead schedule reporting and forecasts.

Job Description

Turner & Townsendis looking for anAssociate Director- Schedulingto join our US Infrastructure team. This individual will have strong leadership skills andproventrack recordof successfully manage scheduling on prior projects or programs.

*This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week in New York.*

Responsibilities:

  • Work in an integrated planning,costand risk environment within the project tooptimizethe use of available resources to complete work plan scopes within budget and time constraints.
  • Ensure that the established planning and schedulingmethodologyis followed in developing the project schedule.
  • Develop Project Milestone and Progress tracking baselines.
  • Assess subcontractor compliance with established schedulingmethodology.
  • Contribute to the development of the Work Breakdown Structure to support project performance measurement.
  • Perform analysis of schedule data;identifytrends, issues, and areas requiring attention andcommunicationto the Project Director and Team.
  • Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external clients on the project schedule.
  • Contribute to the coaching and mentoring of the planningteam
  • Lead schedule reporting, including schedule forecast updates and schedule contingency management for specific work packages.
  • Lead schedule updates,analysis,and reportsin a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliancewithcontractorschedules with the integrated schedules/milestones.
  • Analyze resourcerequirementsand availabilityimpactson the schedule and recommend recovery options.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying,engineeringor field related to construction.
  • Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant civil infrastructure (Aviation, Rail, Transportation, Bridges/Roads/Highways, Tunnels, Utilities)construction experience working in a scheduling role supporting major programs.
  • Experienceworking in complex, fast paced, multi-stakeholder environments which require proactive coordination to ensure project/programsuccess.
  • Practical exposure to network planning structures and techniques, experienced user of Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or above, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability toassistwith wider business initiatives asneeded,including responding to RFPs.
  • Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written,organizational,and communication skills.
