Job summary

CrossCountry Consulting is seeking a seasoned Salesforce professional to join our growing practice. You will serve as a trusted partner to clients, delivering tailored Salesforce configurations and managed services that drive measurable value.

You’ll oversee project life cycles from planning through go‑live, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor junior teammates while leveraging AI tools in line with firm policy to boost productivity and innovation.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional services experience.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce and leading Salesforce optimization projects.
  • Experience covering all aspects of Salesforce projects from planning to go-live.
  • Proven expertise in business process analysis and solution design.
  • Experience with clouds like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ+.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and tasks concurrently.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client accounts, projects, and engagements with budgets and timelines.

What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee client accounts, projects, and engagements, including work plans, staffing, timelines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases, and maintain an integrated project plan.
  • Lead and consult on Salesforce configurations, taking a hands‑on role in all aspects of the process.
  • Act as the primary driver of the project, leading the project team while also being directly involved in completing the configuration tasks.
  • Take ownership of the technical aspects of the project, ensuring successful implementation.
  • Guide customers through the change management process, providing resources and strategies to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain accountability for delivery quality and excellence, overseeing junior team members and proactively identifying, resolving, or escalating project risks/issues.
  • Oversee scheduling of configuration, testing, and go‑live preparation, and coordinate implementations of 3rd party apps, integrations, etc.
  • Perform business analysis to design and implement Salesforce within the client’s environment and manage the solution design process, approvals, development, and final testing.
  • Assist in preparing baseline SOWs or change orders as needed.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm‑approved, AI‑enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes.
What You’ll Bring:
  • 7+ years of professional services experience.
  • Experience implementing Salesforce, configuring Salesforce, leading Salesforce optimization projects, as well as providing Salesforce managed services.
  • Experience covering all aspects of Salesforce projects, from planning and delegation to process flow discovery, functional/technical design, training, testing, go‑live support, and project management.
  • Proven expertise in business process analysis and solution design.
  • Strong preference for prior experience configuring clouds, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ+.
  • Consistent success in efficiently overseeing multiple projects, schedules, and tasks concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and optimal results.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships.
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm‑approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation.
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university.

CrossCountry Consulting is required to include an estimate of the compensation range for this role. The following range takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to, skills, experience, education, licenses, certifications, business needs, and internal equity. An estimate of the current range is $145,000 - $210,000 per year + annual bonus + additional benefits.
