Job summary

Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality seeks an Associate Director to lead programs, retreats, and spiritual formation with a commitment to hospitality and Franciscan values. The role involves coordinating staff, presenters, and budgets, while partnering with the Archdiocese for Safe Parish processes and ensuring welcoming guest experiences.

The position reports to the Director, is full-time and exempt, and requires a Catholic background aligned with the Franciscan tradition.

Qualifications

• Catholic faith and Franciscan tradition understanding
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in spirituality or related field
• Understanding of charism and mission of the Conventual Franciscan Friars
• Work style suitable for retreat and hospitality ministry
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to establish and rearrange priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in budgeting
• Ability to collaborate with coworkers in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, structure, and sponsor programs for Teens and Adults
• Plan yearly retreats and programs with staff
• Recruit, vet, and schedule presenters; manage stipends and reimbursements
• Coordinate evaluations and share with staff/presenters
• Serve as liaison with Center, presenters, and Catholic high schools
• Coordinate marketing materials and program brochures with Marketing Director
• Collaborate with archdiocese on Safe Parish & background checks
• Assist Director with staffing, programming, and fundraising
