Job summary

Binghamton University Residential Life seeks a Staff Associate to help shape the student living experience across six residential colleges, serving 7,800+ residents. You will work with campus partners to support programming, traditions, and a diverse student body.

The role covers goal setting, training, assessment, and crisis-response duties, including on-call rotations. A Master’s degree and supervisory experience are required, with strong administrative skills and a commitment to inclusive

Qualifications

• Master's Degree (or higher) required.
• At least three years of experience in Residential Life.
• Supervision experience.
• Excellent administrative skills and attention to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Associate Director and Director in setting overall direction and goals for the Department with emphasis on student experience, traditions, assessment, and staffing.
• Coordinate the residential area student experience by overseeing traditions and continuity.
• Develop and implement the residential curriculum and train staff to meet goals.
• Oversee departmental assessment with emphasis on the residential curriculum.
• Facilitate and oversee staff selection and training processes.
