Job summary

nVent seeks a senior quality leader to own quality for Minnesota sites (Anoka and Dayton) and coordinate with Blaine. You will manage a 70+ person quality organization, act as primary customer liaison, and ensure QMS scalability across the supply base.

You will drive APQP/PPAP, lead LEAN initiatives, and evolve ISO 9001 frameworks while mentoring teams toward higher performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing quality systems.
• Experience managing multi-site supplier quality.
• Experience with global supply bases.
• Proven track record in leading quality transformation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary leader for supplier quality strategy and audit supplier processes; collaborate with engineering during NPI to ensure suppliers meet build specs.
• Direct the receiving inspection and IQC operations; implement risk-based verification to reduce non-conforming material escapes.
• Act as Executive Liaison to bridge customer expectations and supplier execution.
• Lead the development and alignment of a comprehensive QMS (ISO 9001).
• Act as Quality Project Leader using structured problem solving to resolve supplier bottlenecks.
