TheAssociate Director, Quality Consulting Sales will play a key role in advancing IQVIA’s Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy by promoting our Quality Consulting Services. This position is instrumental in driving sales growth for strategic offerings within theQuality Center of Excellence (COE), with a strong focus on acquiring new clients in theMedTech and Pharmaceutical sectors. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in selling quality consulting services, along with a strong business development mindset. Responsibilities include identifying and closing new consulting opportunities, generating leads forSmartSolveand other C&Q technology platforms, and supporting the creation of marketing collateral. Additionally, the role involves actively representing the business throughconference speaking engagementsandthought leadership content, such as white papers.

Essential Functions:

  • Champion the promotion of IQVIA’s Quality Consulting Services to prospective clients across the MedTech and Pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement targeted sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to drive long-term client engagement.
  • Focus on new business development and strategic account acquisition to expand market presence.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing high-value consulting opportunities.
  • Sell quality compliance consulting services that help clients optimize their Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Partner with clients to implement integrated quality strategies across the product lifecycle, leveraging IQVIA’s regulatory, process, and technology expertise.
  • Lead the pursuit and acquisition of high-profile clients, managing complex and strategically significant consulting deals.
  • Generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in IQVIA-sponsored events and campaigns.
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments, deliver persuasive sales presentations, craft tailored proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the client base within defined market segments.
  • Take on a leadership role in identifying and developing incremental opportunities within new and existing accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5–8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in life science and quality consulting services.
  • MSc/MBA preferred.
  • GMP/ GxP consulting knowledge (Pharma & Medical Device).
  • Proven track record in selling GxP/QMS services, sales growth and target achievement.
  • Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to solve client business challenges.
  • Deep understanding of the MedTech and/or Pharmaceutical industry landscape.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Results-driven with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • Skilled in developing positive relationships across client organizations and internal teams.
  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience.

Required:

  • 10+ years of consulting experience in Medical Device GMP and Pharmaceutical GxP, with deep knowledge of both EU and US regulatory frameworks.
  • Master’s degree (MSc) or MBA.
  • Proven track record in selling GxP/QMS services, consistently achieving sales growth and meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience with Organizational Change Management (OCM).
  • Strong consultative sales approach with a demonstrated ability to address complex client challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5–8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in life sciences or quality consulting services.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying and closing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $107,900.00 - $200,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
