North Carolina State University seeks an Associate Director of Prospect Intelligence to lead the research and analytics function within Prospect Development. The role advances a datainformed approach to prospect identification, principal-gift strategy, and pipeline development, managing the philanthropic research team and developing predictive modeling infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience in higher education fundraising beneficial
• Familiarity with NC State University preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership ($1M–$4.9M) and principal ($5M+) gift research with biographical, financial, and network analysis
• Collaborate with fundraisers and leadership to shape strategy and donor-facing planning
• Synthesize insights to inform cultivation, solicitation, and long-term relationship management
• Deliver intelligence through narratives, visuals, dashboards, and portfolio insights
• Oversee research standards, workflows, and ethical compliance for the principal gift pipeline
• Provide direction for predictive modeling, data strategy, and analytics roadmaps
