Job description

Revolution Medicines is a global, commercial-state oncology company dedicated to discovering, developing and delivering innovative medicines for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. Leveraging its differentiated RAS(ON) tri-complex inhibitor platform, the company is advancing a broad, integrated portfolio of oral RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to directly target the active, cancer-driving state of RAS. Founded on rigorous scientific inquiry and a willingness to challenge long-held assumptions, Revolution Medicines is committed to changing the trajectory of disease for patients with RAS-addicted cancers worldwide.

Our people are united by a shared way of working: follow the science, challenge assumptions, act with urgency and hold ourselves to a high standard of rigor - all in service of patients.

The Opportunity:

The Associate Director (AD), Project Management will report to the Director of Patient Support Program Operations and be accountable for advancing Patient Support Program operational priorities at Revolution Medicines. The AD will lead cross-functional initiatives, translate program objectives into actionable operational plans, and drive delivery against milestones, quality standards, and performance goals that support timely patient access to prescribed oncology therapies.

Working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers, the AD will oversee hub-related initiatives, manage interdependencies, resolve barriers, and drive accountability for results. This role owns program documentation governance and Review Committee (RC) processes, ensuring that approved materials and program requirements are translated into operational practice. Through oversight of materials development, reporting initiatives, and operational readiness, the AD will identify improvement opportunities and strengthen program effectiveness. The position requires deep patient services knowledge, strong project management expertise, and the ability to lead multiple workstreams and influence decisions across functions.

Responsibilities
Patient Support Project Management and Change Management
  • Lead hub-related launches, service enhancements, operational improvements, and transitions, with accountability for integrated plans, cross-functional delivery, and operational outcomes.
  • Set execution priorities, resolve dependencies, and manage risks and changes within approved scope, policies, and budgets; escalation decisions affecting strategy, funding, policy, or contractual commitments to the Director.
Program Documentation and Materials Governance
  • Own the lifecycle of program documentation and patient support materials, including BRDs, SOPs, workflows, training resources, enrollment forms, patient and provider communications, consent documents, and program templates.
  • Establish documentation standards, ownership, review schedules, version control, retention, and distribution processes; ensure internal teams and vendors use current approved materials.
Patient Support Services Reporting and Insights
  • Own reporting requirements, metric definitions, data validation, and delivery of reports and dashboards that provide actionable visibility into patient access, service delivery, and vendor performance.
  • Translate findings into prioritized operational improvements and leadership recommendations; implement changes within established authority and escalation those requiring additional resources or strategic decisions.
Operational Governance and Review Committee Oversight
  • Lead internal and vendor governance forums to drive decisions, resolve barriers, and hold stakeholders accountable for commitments; maintain clear decision records, action owners, and escalation pathways.
  • Own the Review Committee (RC) submission and review process, including priorities, timelines, approval records, and audit trails; ensure required approvals and operational updates are completed before implementation.
Vendor Performance and Operational Readiness
  • Oversee hub vendor and service provider performance against agreed deliverables, service levels, and quality standards; require corrective actions and verify resolution of performance gaps.
  • Lead vendor onboarding, implementation readiness, and contingency planning; assess readiness against defined criteria and recommend launch approval to the Director, identifying unresolved risks and required exceptions.
Resource Stewardship, Quality, and Compliance
  • Define operational requirements for statements of work and vendor changes, oversee budget tracking and invoice validation, and resolve discrepancies within established authority; escalation material variances and funding needs to the Director.
  • Lead operational audit preparation, quality reviews, and remediation; maintain effective change controls and ensure adherence to company requirements for confidential information and patient data.
Required Skills, Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8-11 years or more years of experience in patient services, hub operations, healthcare operations, specialty pharmacy, market access, or a related field.
  • Three or more years of project management experience.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional healthcare programs, documentation governance, and operational processes.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating service provider deliverables.
Preferred Skills
  • Master’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, public health, or a related field preferred.
