- Provide strategic leadership, oversight, and operational management for the Department’s Faculty Advancement & Engagement portfolio
- Partner with the Vice Chair for Faculty Advancement & Engagement and departmental leaders to align the portfolio with strategic priorities
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and continuously improve programs supporting the faculty lifecycle
- Establish program goals, measure outcomes, assess impact, and use data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness and faculty experience
- Lead programs involving faculty integration, engagement, belonging, wellness, alumni relations, career development, mentorship, leadership development, professional growth, advancement, recognition, global health engagement, and education
- Collaborate with School of Medicine, Emory Healthcare, and university partners to leverage resources and advance faculty success strategies
- Provide leadership, supervision, coaching, and professional development for a team of four direct reports
- Direct strategic planning, program development, and implementation
- Collaborate with private, government, and international agencies
- Represent the program in national and international forums
- Conduct research, design initiatives, write publishable articles and papers, collaborate with others, and design programs
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to the specific program and five years of program-related experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- Master's degree preferred
- Demonstrated success leading change initiatives and building collaborative relationships across organizational boundaries
- Experience in academic administration, human resources, faculty affairs, organizational development, or related functions preferred
- Experience partnering with senior leaders, faculty leaders, or executive-level stakeholders preferred
- Experience leading and developing professional staff teams preferred
- Experience managing complex program portfolios with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities preferred
- Experience using metrics, assessments, and program evaluation methods to measure effectiveness and drive continuous improvement preferred
- Experience managing program budgets and allocating resources to support strategic priorities preferred
