Job Description

  • Assisting portfolio managers in the day-to-day management of index-based portfolios and
    rebalancing of the company's product suites, developing and reviewing fund performance
    reports and strategy presentations.
  • Managing portfolio reconciliation while collaborating with Finance, Operations and Trading
    teams on ways to improve data flow and efficiency.
  • Building mathematical algorithms to manage long/short digital asset quantitative trading
    strategies, and analyzing portfolio positioning, attribution, performance drivers and risk
    exposures using complex financial models.
  • Developing dashboards, live PnL tracking systems, and other analytical tools that aid the due
    diligence and portfolio management, and portfolio construction processes using Excel and
    coding languages including Python.
  • Supporting investment team on investment strategies research, building the investment thesis,
    and designing the portfolio management workflow.
  • Monitoring portfolio risk, maintaining appropriate market and security level hedges, and
    ensuring portfolio characteristics are synchronized with key tenets of investment strategy and
    algorithms.
  • Developing quantitative models to analyze large financial datasets and generate key insights
    into the portfolio company’s business operation and investment performance using SQL,
    Python, and Tradingview using the PineScript coding language.
  • Developing Quantitative Trading products using mySQL and Snowflake and managing
    investment products including implementing periodic rebalances.
  • Building and maintaining automated programmatic systems and executing trades both
    programmatically and manually on centralized and decentralized exchanges.
  • Extracting portfolio business data from relevant data sources, such as internal systems and
    third-party data vendors through API endpoints, including Kraken, Kucoin, Coinbase, and
    Fireblocks.
  • Building quantitative asset allocation models to rebalance digital asset indices and internal index models to evaluate new indexes, enhance existing indexes, and create quantitative investment strategies.
  • Building and maintaining a financial tools database for pricing, economic, and fundamental data, and managing and using relational databases to efficiently handle and process substantial amounts of financial data.

Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Operations Research or related field plus one (1) year of
experience in the job offered or related.

Special Skill Requirements:

a. Developing Quantitative Trading products using mySQL and Snowflake.
b. Experience with Tradingview using the PineScript coding language.
c. Building mathematical algorithms to manage long/short digital asset quantitative tradingstrategies using Kraken, Kucoin, Coinbase, and Fireblocks.
d. Building portfolio management tools, including dashboards and live PnL tracking systemsusing Python and Excel.
e. Collaborating with Finance, Operations, and Trading teams.
f. Managing index-based portfolios by building quantitative asset allocation models torebalance digital asset indices.
g. Developing quantitative models that analyze large financial datasets.
h. Executing trades programmatically and manually on centralized and decentralized exchanges.

Base Salary: $101,000 to $180,000 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F
