Job summary

Actalent seeks an Associate Director of Program Management in Seattle to oversee internal and partnered clinical programs, driving cross-functional collaboration and consistent deliverables. This 12-week contract role reports to the VP of Portfolio, Program & Alliance Strategy and offers potential remote work based on experience.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in program management with relevant IND/CMC exposure, oncology or autoimmune experience, and strong leadership in scientific settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in immunology, biology, or genetics preferred.
• 10 years of experience with at least 5 years in program management for Associate Director level.
• 12 years of experience with at least 7 years in program management for Director level.
• Experience in gene and cell therapy preferred.
• Strong leadership capabilities in a scientific setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, SharePoint, Excel, and MS Teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cross-functional programs through clinical trials.
• Partner with project teams to define goals and track progress.
• Establish program management infrastructure and processes.
• Drive operational excellence to enable efficient drug development.
• Support governance decisions with effective meeting practices.
• Ensure clear program communications and transparent reporting.
• Collaborate with finance and business operations for program planning.
• Support initiatives and special projects as needed.
