Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Own design and proposal tool relationships, including settings, implementation, controls, and oversight.
  • Manage direct pay relationships, including integration and contractual compliance.
  • Evaluate and certify new/updated design platforms, identify defects and corrections.
  • Ensure regulatory program compliance (Domestic Content, FEOC, Safe Harbor) and audit readiness.
  • Own data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system alignment across platforms.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching, with team expansion as needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align data standards and operational requirements.
  • Identify system/data/process gaps and translate into actionable feature requests with Product/Tech teams.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and leading indicators to identify risks and performance gaps.

Job description

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

EnFin is seeking an Associate Director, Platform Operations responsible for design and proposal platform governance, data integrity, metadata validation, partner platform API integration, as well as the execution of clean energy tax credit rules.

The Associate Director will lead a high-performing team and serve as the central point of coordination between internal business verticals, technology teams, and external partners to certify new partner platforms and API integrations. This individual will evaluate, certify, and optimize partner platforms and API integrations while driving alignment on platform standards, scalability, and operational performance.

As a cross-functional leader within the Asset and Platform Operations team, this role will own the prioritization and execution of technology enhancements as well as ensuring compliance with evolving clean energy program requirements, including Domestic Content, Foreign Entity of Concern (FEOC), and Safe Harbor provisions.

The ideal candidate is a strategic operator with strong technical acumen, deep solar industry knowledge, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience building scalable processes that support business growth, regulatory compliance, and technology innovation.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Santa, Clara, CA or Teaneck, NJ with an in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote work may be considered for exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full ownership of design and proposal tool relationships including settings, implementation, controls, and oversight.
  • Manage direct pay relationships including integration, and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Evaluate and certify new and updated design platforms including defect identification and corrections.
  • Execution and compliance with regulatory programs and requirements (e.g., Domestic Content, FEOC, Safe Harbor) including audit readiness and documentation standards.
  • Own data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system alignment across platforms supporting asset operations.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching, and oversight for assigned resources, while supporting team expansion as the function grows.
  • Partner cross-functional with Product, Risk, Capital Markets, and Servicing to align data standards and operational requirements.
  • Proactively identify system, data, and process gaps impacting operational controls, and translate these into business feature request while partnering with Product, Tech, and across the organization and supporting the evolution of this function as it scales.
  • Platform expert with strong understanding of end-to-end data platforms, pipelines, and reporting ecosystems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Compliance, Servicing, Sales, and Technology teams toalignpriorities and drive operational excellence.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) andleadingindicators to proactively identify operational risks and performance gaps.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field or equivalent practical experience in operations, financial services, project management, or data-driven roles.
  • 8-10+ years of professional work experience including 6+ years of work experience in one or more of the following: solar or renewable energy, operations, project management, data management, financing, or financial services, B2B support, or CRM platforms, including data management, reporting, and workflow support and minimum of 5+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Ability to establish priorities and manage time to complete work with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating with other teams and departments such as risk, capital markets, and Servicing.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment with a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
  • Comfort working with SFDC (CRM), spreadsheets, portals, and operational tooling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in solar, energy, fintech, or servicing operations preferred.
  • Understanding of Solar lending products.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • If applicable, the ability to travel when needed.
COMPENSATION:

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is:

  • Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $184,900 – $205,000
  • Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY) (posting range): $169,500 – $200,000
  • Zone 3 (All others): $154,100 – $188,400

The applicable salary range is based on the employee’s primary work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.
