Job summary

Texas A&M Engineering is seeking an Associate Program Director for Spark! PK-12 Engineering Education Outreach on the Main Campus in College Station, TX.

The role leads strategic operations, staff, and program development to broaden high-quality PK-12 engineering education and workforce pathways across Texas. You will oversee PK-12 outreach programs, lead workforce development initiatives, and scale programs using data-driven performance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Eight years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Operations: provide leadership continuity and represent Spark!'s mission with stakeholders; translate goals into measurable objectives and plans.
• Provide oversight of PK-12 outreach programs and initiatives.
• Lead development, implementation, evaluation, and scaling of PK-12 workforce development initiatives.
• Identify, pilot, evaluate, and scale programs moving students toward technical skills.
• Integrate research, workforce development, entrepreneurship, industry and innovation into outreach.
• Establish and monitor KPIs; analyze data for improvement, growth, and resource allocation.
• Supervise and develop staff; foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with faculty, industry, school systems and government.
• Assist with budgets and ensure compliance; travel as needed; adhere to policies.
