Associate Director, Oncology Regional Accounts, Michiana

As an Associate Director, Oncology Regional Accounts, you will play a crucial role in translating our scientific advances into positive impacts on patients' lives. You will deliver AstraZeneca's science and commercial capabilities to healthcare leaders and decision-makers.

Reporting to the Director, Oncology Regional Accounts, you will collaborate with oncology account leadership and cross-functional teams to support business priorities such as new product launches, formulary access, and GPO contracts. You will lead local account planning and strategy implementation.

Typical Accountabilities
  1. Develop business relationships with targeted oncology customers.
  2. Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers within oncology accounts.
  3. Prioritize projects and initiatives supporting account management, addressing market and customer needs.
  4. Communicate clinical and economic rationale to secure formulary and EMR inclusion.
  5. Lead GPO contract pull-through efforts in community accounts.
  6. Ensure consistent implementation of account strategies across teams.
  7. Provide insights to Oncology Access Strategy and Marketing teams.
  8. Possess 5+ years of pharma or healthcare experience.
  9. Have at least 3 years of oncology experience.
  10. Demonstrate leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills.
  11. Understand financial concepts and contracting issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience managing provider accounts or oncology GPO contracts.
  2. Background as District Sales Manager or in field reimbursement roles.
  3. Strong negotiation skills.
  4. Fluency in oncology clinical science and health economic data translation.
