Job summary

MSD is seeking an Associate Director – Data Strategy, Oncology to lead sourcing and creation of commercial data assets that inform critical decisions. You will drive data strategy for Oncology Alliances and work with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven product strategies.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and collaboration with analytics, MDM, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact data solutions and partnerships within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen to leverage data for commercial decisions.
• Ability to analyze and assess the value of data assets.
• Ability to collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations stakeholders.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to become a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
• Experience with healthcare data, EMR/EHR, and claims data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of the commercial data landscape and data assets.
• Aggressively advance data strategy and standardizations to power AI data solutions.
• Partner to enable oncology data strategy and alliances.
• Collaborate with analytics and MDM teams to realize value.
• Identify data gaps and devise plans to acquire or create needed assets.
• Build high-performance cross-functional teams and partnerships.
