Job summary

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute invites applications for Associate Director of Clinical Research Operations in Radiation Oncology. This leader will shape the program across the main campus and network sites and drive high-quality, compliant trials.

You will supervise staff, partner with investigators, and optimize study activation, enrollment, and portfolio development while ensuring financial stewardship and regulatory readiness. Boston-based, on-site role.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in science, public health, healthcare administration, or nursing.
6+ years clinical research experience with at least 4 years supervising staff.
Experience in an academic medical center environment preferred.
Experience with IND/IDE filings.
Project management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership for the Radiation Oncology Clinical Research program, establishing vision and operational framework.
Direct clinical research operations across the department and network sites, ensuring compliance and quality.
Build partnerships with investigators, sponsors, and affiliates to expand opportunities and strengthen initiatives.
Lead portfolio development, feasibility, enrollment, retention, and growth initiatives for research.
Oversee network and affiliate programs, ensuring alignment and regulatory readiness across sites.
Provide executive leadership for clinical research staff, including talent management and succession planning.
Represent the department in governance, advising senior leadership on strategy and resources.
