Job summary

Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College (SMWC) invites applications for an energetic Associate Director of Student Success to lead initiatives that promote achievement, persistence, and belonging.

The Associate Director will oversee the Summer Bridge Program and the 21st Century Scholars Program, ensuring that underrepresented, first‑generation, and conditionally admitted students are supported through their transition to and success in college.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least two years in student success or program coordination in higher education.
• Commitment to supporting first‑generation and underrepresented students.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with program assessment and data‑informed decision making.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and assess the Summer Bridge Program.
• Lead the 21st Century Scholars Program and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs, Student Life, and Admissions to identify students needing interventions.
• Develop academic workshops, mentoring programs, and co-curricular initiatives.
• Collect and analyze program data, preparing reports for improvement.
• Supervise student employees and manage program budgets.
• Contribute to assessment, reporting, and strategic planning.
• Participate in campus committees.
