Job summary

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Villas in San Antonio, TX seeks an Associate Director of Sales to lead the sales team, manage select key accounts, and drive revenue. The role includes mentoring staff, recruiting and hiring, and coordinating with catering and convention services to support the annual business plan and forecasting.

Ideal candidates possess strong client relations, excellent presentation and organizational skills, and a proven track record in hotel sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years previous sales experience.
• Proficient in general computer knowledge.
• Supervisory experience and able to train.
• Monitor the process of sending referrals.
• Setting traces and profiling accounts.
• Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills of utmost importance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the sales staff and manage select key accounts.
• Recruit, hire and train sales staff; lead sales meetings.
• Collaborate with catering and convention services; participate in annual business plan.
• Forecasting, P&L management, and reporting analysis.
• Represent Hyatt at business travel, tradeshows, and customer entertainment.
• Engage in community involvement and networking to grow hospitality sales.
