Work Location : The Associate Director of Admission will be eligible for a hybrid work schedule, pursuant to the College’s Work Location Policy.
About the Position
The Associate Director of Admission is involved in all aspects of the general admission process: recruitment travel, interaction with prospective students and their families, interviewing, application review, and the selection of candidates. The Associate Director also holds responsibility for the oversight and coordination of one or more project areas, as assigned by the Dean and/or Director of Admission and depending upon specific skills and interests, and the supervision of one or more members of staff.
The Associate Director position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to relate to a broad range of constituents (students, parents, alumni, high school counselors, etc.), an appreciation for and sensitivity to a variety of backgrounds and traditions from which students may come, and the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
