We are seeking a National Video Investment Associate Director based in New York City, NY to work on one of our premier portfolio brands. You will oversee all of the cable and multicultural campaigns on this line of business. You will manage a team of 10 individuals and you will report into the VP, National Video Investment.

We are seeking a National Video Investment Associate Director based in New York City, NY to work on one of our premier portfolio brands. You will oversee all of the cable and multicultural campaigns on this line of business. You will manage a team of 10 individuals and you will report into the VP, National Video Investment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Video Investment and Execution:
- Oversee negotiations and expenditures of all national video budgets
- Be knowledgeable of clients business model and goals to best ensure their media is working towards growth
- Maintain and develop relationships with key media vendors
Client & Internal Relationships:
- Build trusting, collaborative relationships with clients at all levels
- Manage expectations of client and their deliverables
- Accurately represent the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team and presenting to client
- Grow business opportunities within current clients
- Establishes strong internal relationships with other service line heads
Strategic Thinking & Leadership:
- Ensure key information is provided to team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.
- Maintain marketplace expertise across all television mediums
- Actively keep current with industry trends, media tools – buying systems, research, resources and associations
- Construct and deliver accurate, honest and timely performance management documents
- Provide guidance to team members and nurture/promote team environment
Communications Skills:
- Establish and maintain communications process with clients, media teams, creative, etc. for each piece of business within the team
- Link communication to audience’s concerns and perspectives
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years experience in National Video Investment Experience with at least 3 years of experience in National Linear TV
- Experience managing a team of 3+ junior teammates
- Experience working on a variety of campaigns: Upfront, Adhock, Scatter, and Options
- Experience working in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)
The annual salary range for this position is 70K- 110K . Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
