Job summary

University System of New Hampshire seeks an Associate Director for the National Center for START Services (NCSS) to act as the Executive Director’s strategic partner, guiding organizational health, priorities, and sustainability. This role oversees START training, consultation, and TA nationally and internationally.

Responsibilities include supervising Project Managers, managing contracts, developing resources, leading the National Advisory Council, and aligning operations with START fidelity

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related field with 7–10 years of related experience.
• Experience supporting individuals with MH-IDD and collaboration with state/local agencies for contracts.
• Evidence-based principles, adult learning, and quality improvement methods applied to program development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of NCSS operations and training initiatives.
• Supervise NCSS leadership staff and coordinate cross-functional teams across clinical, research, operations, quality, communications, and training.
• Ensure fidelity to the START Model and manage organizational quality assurance, policy development, and continuous improvement.
