Job Overview

The Associate Director, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), Hematology-Oncology, is a strategic leadership role responsible for managing a team of National MSLs, collaborating with Medical and Commercial leaders to deliver field-based medical support aligned with research and business objectives. Reporting to the National Director, US Medical Affairs, MSLs, Oncology, this role involves leading, coaching, and developing the team to support high performance and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the MSL team, including hiring, training, performance management, and motivation.
2. Maintain scientific credibility and expertise in Hematology-Oncology areas such as ALL, sAML, VOD.
3. Build relationships with thought leaders and external stakeholders.
4. Manage territory engagement plans and ensure strategic alignment.
5. Ensure compliance with corporate and healthcare regulations in all activities.
6. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support clinical and scientific initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, or PhD, with experience in Hematology-Oncology preferred.
• At least 5 years of industry experience, with 2+ years in management.
• Proven ability to present complex scientific data effectively.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic skills.
• Field-based role with up to 60% travel required.
