The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) program in Lilly Oncology supports scientific experts (SEs) by maintaining deep therapeutic knowledge about Lilly and competitor products, current issues in oncology, and facilitating scientific exchange. The primary focus of this MSL role will be Hematologic Malignancies, supporting community and academic SEs with information on agents in development for Hematologic Malignancies.
The role involves developing mutually beneficial relationships with external clients and internal teams, dedicating 70-80% of time to external engagement, serving as Lilly's representative, and connecting SEs with internal resources. Responsibilities include reporting clinical insights, maintaining technical expertise, continuous learning, and effective communication of scientific knowledge.
Administrative activities include proficiency in computer skills and database management (VEEVA, SharePoint, Microsoft Office, PubMed), compliance with procedural requirements, and proper resource utilization.
Preferred location near a major airport within the geographic region including Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, North/South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Illinois. The role requires approximately 60% overnight travel and use of electronic communication tools.
