Organization Overview:

Responsibilities:
  1. Support scientific experts (SEs) by maintaining deep therapeutic knowledge about Lilly and competitor products, current issues in oncology, and gathering feedback to inform Lilly’s research and strategic direction.
  2. Focus on Hematologic Malignancies, providing scientific and clinical support regarding late and early phase agents.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with external clients (SEs, educators, investigators) and serve as Lilly’s representative, providing disease state and product information.
  4. Connect SEs with internal Lilly resources and report clinical insights and customer questions to relevant teams.
  5. Maintain technical expertise in your therapeutic area through continuous learning, scientific meetings, and literature searches, and communicate updates regularly to peers.
  6. Manage administrative activities effectively, including proficiency in computer skills, documentation, and compliance with procedural requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD) with 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience, or a Masters/Bachelor’s with 5+ years in oncology.
  • Valid driver’s license and legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship expected).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
  • Clinical oncology experience in hospital or outpatient settings.
  • Strong scientific curiosity, communication skills, and experience servicing customer needs.
  • Experience with malignant hematology, radioligand/theranostics preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 60%, including overnight and weekend work.
  • Strong networking, presentation, and computer skills, with familiarity in literature evaluation.
Location:
  • Preferably near a major airport in Minnesota (Rochester), Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Illinois.
Additional Information:
  • Field-based role with approximately 60% overnight travel.
  • Must be able to use electronic communication tools effectively.

Compensation for this role ranges from $145,500 to $213,400, depending on experience and location, with eligibility for bonuses and comprehensive benefits.
