Job summary

New York Institute of Technology seeks an Associate Director of Pipeline Programs at its Jonesboro, Arkansas campus to build a strong pre-med pipeline for NYITCOM. The role focuses on outreach to K-12 and postsecondary partners, coordinating Peer Outreach Mentors, and coordinating with admissions for pathway initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and experience in program development, with travel and evening/weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Experience in program development and implementation preferred.
• Strong outreach and community engagement experience is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and concurrently.
• Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ARKansas and neighboring state research to identify needs of under-represented and economically disadvantaged students.
• Develop and execute on- and off-campus pipeline programs (workshops, tours, leadership development, prep courses, events).
• Build and maintain relationships with school districts, pre-med advisors, and program coordinators to recruit candidates.
• Create assessment programs to measure recruitment, retention, and outcomes.
• Attend recruitment events and collaborate with admissions to discuss pipeline conversations.
• Develop partnerships with NYITCOM staff and faculty.
