Job summary

Uniphar BESTMSLs is seeking an Associate Director, Medical Information to lead the Medical Information function and provide compliant, high‑quality scientific responses to internal and external stakeholders.

The role oversees operations, standards, trend analysis, and training, partnering with Field Medical and other Medical Affairs teams to support therapeutic portfolios. Location is Nashville, TN with a hybrid model (Office 3 days/wk).

Qualifications

• PharmD, PhD in biological sciences, or equivalent advanced scientific degree.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including at least 3 years in Medical Information or a related function.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of management or functional leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Medical Information standards within the pharmaceutical industry and applicable regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Medical Information function, including resource allocation and performance metrics.
• Oversee development, review, and maintenance of standard response letters, FAQs, and scientific resources.
• Monitor inquiry trends and generate reports for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Review published literature and internal documents to ensure accurate, compliant responses.
• Partner with Field Medical and other Medical Affairs functions to support healthcare professional needs.
• Represent Medical Affairs at scientific meetings and congresses as needed.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and processes for regulatory alignment.
• Manage Medical Information inquiries and documentation within CRM systems.
• Provide training and mentorship to Medical Information personnel and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee medical reviewers participating in promotional review activities.
