Job summary

Moonbug Entertainment in Los Angeles is seeking an Associate Director, Media Operations for a fixed-term parental leave cover. You will lead the day-to-day operations of the Media Ops team, based in LA and collaborating closely with our London team.

This is a hands-on leadership role, inheriting a 3-person team and established processes. The ideal candidate is a senior ad ops leader with world-class digital advertising operations experience during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional digital media experience
• 8+ years managing teams
• Deep experience with sell and buy-side inventory platforms
• Video & CTV expertise, especially YouTube campaign management
• Programmatic knowledge including PG and PMP
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and analytics tools
• Strong leadership and communication with senior stakeholders
• Ability to troubleshoot complex ad operations issues

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, trafficking, execution, pacing, and delivery of direct and programmatic campaigns across Moonbug's digital portfolio
• Troubleshoot issues that may impede delivery and reporting of campaigns
• Manage and develop a team of 3 ad ops professionals
• Coordinate between Ad Sales, Sales Planning, Account Management, Finance and tech teams
• Partner with Finance on monthly campaign reconciliation and billing queries
• Maintain high standards for ad serving, targeting, and inventory management across platforms
• Represent the Ad Operations function for leadership and escalation
• Support pitch and post-campaign client meetings with technical input
