Job summary

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is seeking an Associate Director, Individual Giving to steward a portfolio of major donors and secure five- to six-figure gifts in support of our mission.

Reporting to the VP, Strategic Philanthropy, you will craft donor-centered cases, manage moves management, collaborate with program and agency leaders, and ensure a superb donor experience across the giving lifecycle while working remotely within the Continental United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and fundraising experience.
• 4+ years of progressively responsible major gifts or frontline fundraising experience.
• Experience identifying, cultivating, and closing five- and six-figure gifts; portfolio management and moves management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 100-150 major donors and prospects with gifts typically $25,000–$100,000+.
• Develop and execute individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies using a moves management framework.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified prospects to meet annual revenue goals; track stages and timing in the relationship lifecycle.
• Document all donor interactions and moves in Salesforce to preserve institutional knowledge.
