Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Associate Director, Project Controls to join our on-site team serving a life sciences client in the Thousand Oaks/Los Angeles area. You will lead project controls services, including capital planning, governance, scheduling, cost management, and risk, while guiding junior staff and coordinating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project controls, and a track record of BD growth, with proficiency in SAP/Oracle, Primavera, Power BI, Procore, and MS

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in project controls.
• MRICS / CPE / CEP / PMP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client accounts with growth potential and act as principal contact.
• Deliver project controls services including cap planning, governance, front end planning, funding, setup, cost and commercial management.
• Lead schedule control, risk management and project close-out activities.
• Mentor staff, support talent development and conduct training.
• Manage fee proposals and grow business with clients.
• Ensure QA/QC in collaboration with Director Project Controls.
