Job summary

UC Law SF in San Francisco, on-site, seeks an Associate Director of IT Services to lead the department's on-site operations and staff. The role ensures classroom and event technology readiness, service quality, and coordination during disruptions.

Under the Executive Director, IT Services, you will manage end-user computing, the service desk, and campus event support, with a focus on reliability, staffing coverage, and cross-training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related area; professional training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years in technology service delivery; three years with classroom/event A/V responsibility; two years supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Experience supervising in a represented environment is preferred; higher education experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs on-site service operations and supervises staff.
• Manages service desk, classroom technology, and campus event support; monitors service levels and queue performance.
• Oversees budgets, vendor relationships, and procurement for technology services.
• Plans equipment lifecycle, refresh cycles, and readiness verification for classrooms and event spaces.
