Job Overview

The Digital Investment Associate Director manages the team responsible for clients’ digital media buys, investments, and operations. This role involves developing and implementing processes to ensure digital investment success, working across various business lines, and understanding digital systems, data needs, and media buy structures to enhance efficiency. Collaboration and problem-solving with internal and external teams are critical.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and enhance processes to ensure data integrity across the agency.
  2. Collaborate with teams to identify pain points and develop best practices, tools, and improvements.
  3. Improve processes for digital buying, client billing, and digital reconciliation.
  4. Maintain a strong understanding of systems such as Mediaocean–Prisma, Ad Servers, DSPs, DMPs, and proprietary tools.
  5. Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting operational issues.
  6. Coordinate data delivery for reporting and work with Analytics and Data Science teams to meet campaign goals.
  7. Ensure digital contracts and vendor terms are properly managed and approved.
  8. Apply strategic planning knowledge throughout campaign processes.
  9. Advise clients and teams on campaign strategies, trends, and marketplace insights.
  10. Share best practices within Publicis Groupe to ensure consistency and quality.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and vendors.
  12. Manage vendor billing and oversee open items.
  13. Cultivate a team-oriented culture within the Investment Operations team.
  14. Lead team management and development for Associates, Sr. Associates, and Supervisors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Knowledge of agency billing, digital planning, and buying processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and math proficiency.
  • Ability to learn and innovate beyond the status quo.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Experience coaching and developing team members.
  • Familiarity with media tools and systems.
