Job summary

RayzeBio is seeking an Associate Director, In‑Vivo Pharmacology to provide scientific and operational leadership across oncology programs with a focus on radiopharmaceuticals. This role will lead senior scientists to design and execute high‑quality in‑vivo studies informing strategy from discovery through IND‑enabling development.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, Toxicology, or related field.
• 8+ years of industry experience in in‑vivo oncology pharmacology.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex programs.
• IACUC knowledge and animal welfare/accreditation experience.
• Desirable: AI/data analysis tools for data-driven decisions and radiopharmaceuticals exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead in‑vivo pharmacology strategy for oncology RPT programs; design and interpret studies.
• Guide model selection (CDX/PDX), dose/schedule rationale, endpoints; select mouse strains/models.
• Ensure consistency and rigor across in‑vivo studies from discovery to IND‑enabling development.
• Own efficacy and biodistribution strategy; incorporate radiobiology considerations.
• Partner with dosimetry/physics, imaging, radiochemistry, biology and DMPK teams.
• Review in‑vivo pharmacology sections of study reports and IND submissions.
• Escalate animal care, biosecurity, or facility issues affecting studies.
