Job summary

UT Health Sciences in Memphis seeks an Associate Director of Healthcare Pathway Programs to provide strategic leadership and oversight for students pursuing health professions careers and further education. This role partners with UT System schools to promote student success, professional school readiness, and workforce development in Tennessee.

The Associate Director will deliver comprehensive advising and coaching from career exploration through admission and entry into professional programs,

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required (transcript required).
Six (6) years of related experience in academic advising, student affairs, health professions advising, or related field; OR a Master’s Degree with four (4) years of related experience; OR a combination totaling ten (10) years.

Responsibilities

Advises and mentors students pursuing healthcare careers with academic planning and professional school prep.
Supports admissions process, including strategy, statements, interviews, testing, and matriculation planning.
Develops experiential learning, mentorship, shadowing, and professional development opportunities for health professions prep.
