Job summary

The Colorado Area Health Education Center (COAHEC) at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Associate Director (0.3 FTE). This faculty role supports COAHEC’s statewide mission of strengthening Colorado’s health workforce pipeline, advancing healthcare in our communities, and supporting practice transformation in alignment with HRSA AHEC goals.

• Graduate-level writing skills and strong academic credentials.
• Proven track record securing external/extramural funding from federal agencies or foundations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead program development and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with COAHEC faculty and regional directors to promote COAHEC's vision and HRSA goals.
• Provide co-direction of COAHEC programs and oversee curriculum resources.
• Lead grant writing, management, and reporting; monitor HRSA mandates.
• Develop metrics to assess program outcomes and community impact.
• Identify opportunities to expand partnerships with government, industry, and nonprofits.
• Plan and evaluate statewide initiatives and the AHEC Scholars program.
