Job summary

Denver Health and Hospital Authority seeks an Associate Residency Program Director for the Denver Health/CU Anschutz Residency in Emergency Medicine. The role includes overseeing PGY-specific requirements, coordinating clinical rotations, evaluating residents, and mentoring in academic and professional development.

Qualifications

• Prior education leadership experience is highly valued.
• Experience with GME programs and residency leadership preferred.
• Strong mentorship and resident evaluation skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of PGY-specific requirements, including clinical rotation coordination, resident evaluation and mentorship in academic and professional development.
• Partnership with Residency Leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and advance clinical and didactic education, faculty development, resident wellbeing, and inclusion.
• Residency recruitment, including application review, interview, and selection.
• Innovation and scholarship in advancing best practices in graduate medical education both locally and nationally.
• Serving as a role model within the program for faculty and residents, with priority given to candidates with education leadership experience, particularly GME experience.
