We are seeking an Associate Director, Government Affairs to serve as a key liaison between our organization and government entities. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of governmental processes, legislative procedures, and regulatory frameworks. This role requires excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include monitoring legislative developments, analyzing their impact, developing advocacy strategies, and representing the organization in various forums. The candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments relevant to the organization.
2. Develop and implement advocacy strategies to influence government policies and decisions.
3. Represent the organization in meetings, hearings, and public forums with government officials.
4. Prepare detailed reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
5. Collaborate with internal departments to align organizational objectives with governmental policies.
6. Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in government interactions.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and stakeholders.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years experience in government relations, public policy, or related roles.
3. Strong understanding of legislative processes and regulatory frameworks.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop strategic responses.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant research tools.

Nice to have:

1. Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.
2. General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency.

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000 USD
