Job summary

College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA is seeking an Associate Director of Gifts, Records and Data Integrity to lead gift accounting, biographical records, and data integrity across the advancement program.

You will work with Finance and Research, manage staff, implement data quality standards, and support fundraising campaigns while ensuring compliance with CASE and IRS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in gift accounting and records management.
• A minimum of 4 years of direct experience with relational databases.
• Experience in Salesforce platforms or equivalent non-profit CRMs, GiveCampus, HubSpot.
• Experience in hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills with a team-based work environment.
• MS Office proficiency, including expert level use of Excel.
• Knowledge of IRS regulations for gift accounting, CASE standards and Best Practices in Gifts and Records management.
• Ability to problem-solve and use analytical skills to develop and implement creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gift accounting and biographical records in the college's database.
• Analyze information needs and improve data entry workflows.
• Develop data quality standards and internal controls.
• Document policies for the gifts and records team.
• Coordinate with advancement units to ensure integrated data management.
• Ensure timely fundraising reports and gift processing oversight.
• Support gift officers with alerts on new gifts.
• Collaborate with Finance on allocations and reconciliations.
