The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Associate Director of Fund Administration to provide operational leadership across the gift agreement and fund establishment lifecycle at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The role oversees intake, drafting coordination, and ensures alignment with donor intent, policy, and IRS requirements. The position leads agreement review, routing, execution, and records management, while supervising fund administration staff and driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in advancement services, gift administration, fund administration, or related field.
• 2+ years supervisory experience including interns/volunteers.
• Valid driver’s license required due to travel responsibilities.
• Graduate degree holders must have at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees gift agreement intake and drafting coordination to ensure alignment with donor intent and policy.
• Leads agreement review, routing, and execution with campus partners and counsel, ensuring proper retention.
• Manages creation and maintenance of endowed and non‑endowed funds, reconciling discrepancies before payout.
