Job summary

University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Fund Administration to support campus partner coordination and fund information stewardship across endowed and non‑endowed funds.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Fund Administration and focuses on maintaining productive relationships, organizing fund balances, expenditures, and reinvestment activity. The role supports day‑to‑day coordination, communication, and information flows, ensuring accuracy in fund

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in endowment administration, fund accounting, advancement services, or a finance function.
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.

Responsibilities

  • Campus Partner Support & Coordination: primary day‑to‑day contact for college and unit budget directors, development officers, and campus partners on fund balances, expenditures, utilization, and reinvestment questions.
  • Fund Information and Payout Analysis: maintains fund data and prepares reports, flags underutilized/expired funds, tracks reinvestment and reconciles figures.
  • Process Improvement and Documentation: identifies opportunities for automation, develops procedures, templates, and onboarding materials.
