Job summary

Whitley Penn, a leading advisory firm, seeks a Forensic & Litigation Services Associate Director in Houston to lead commercial & IP disputes engagements. You will direct complex damages analyses, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality client service throughout engagements.

The role requires a CPA, 5+ years of leadership in accounting/finance, and strong expertise in litigation support. Hybrid schedule with in-office days in Houston and flexible collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics; advanced degree a plus.
• A CPA license is preferred and/or other suitable professional credentials.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including leadership, preferably in consulting.

Responsibilities

• Calculate economic damages in matters such as patent, trademark, copyright, and other disputes.
• Review and analyze documents; highlight relevant testimony for teams.
• Manage projects by setting objectives and delegating assignments.
• Identify issues and advise on case direction with strong analytical skills.
• Prepare testifying expert files and assist with depositions and trials.
• Lead training and development within the department and assist in recruiting.
