Job summary

Mercer University is seeking an Associate Director of Financial Planning on the Macon, Georgia campus to manage financial aid processing, awards, and student financial wellness initiatives. The role reports to the Director of Financial Planning and requires collaboration with MUSM leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree, 2+ years in regulatory or finance-related roles, and strong analytical, data-entry, and customer service skills to support enrolled and prospective students

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree and two years of related experience including regulatory or compliance experience, and/or accounting/finance experience.
• Customer service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and award financial aid in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Counsel students regarding financial aid awards, debt management, and financial wellness.
• Analyze data, make judgments, and act independently while reporting to the Director of Financial Planning.
