Job summary

Catholic Charities Housing Services (CCHS) seeks a seasoned facilities and construction leader to oversee operations, asset preservation, and capital projects across the portfolio of housing and service facilities. The role combines hands-on management with strategic planning to protect assets, ensure safety, and sustain services.

You will direct budgets, supervise facilities managers, coordinate with architects and contractors, and ensure compliance with building, fire, ADA, OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements facilities policies, procedures, preventative maintenance programs, and long-range capital replacement plans in collaboration with Asset Management to preserve facilities, building systems, grounds, vehicles, and infrastructure.
• Provides direct supervision, guidance, mentorship, and performance management to Facilities Managers responsible for multi-family housing and commercial/office facilities operations.
• Oversees maintenance, janitorial, groundskeeping, and contracted service operations throughout the CCHS portfolio.
• Conducts facility condition assessments and develops recommendations for repairs, replacements, rehabilitation activities, and capital investments with Asset Management.
• Travels regularly throughout the CCHS service area to inspect facilities, oversee projects, and support operational activities.
