Lilly's Catalyze360 is seeking an Associate Director in External Partnering to expand early-stage biotech outreach and strengthen relationships with founders and leaders. You will identify high-potential companies and shape engagements that move bold science toward meaningful milestones.

The role requires deep drug discovery knowledge, strong business acumen, and a network within the U.S. biotech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years client services and biotech partnering experience.
• 3+ years working with early-stage biotech companies and networks.
• 3+ years hands-on knowledge of drug discovery and development challenges.

Responsibilities

• Expand Catalyze360 collaborations by finding and cultivating opportunities with early-stage biotech companies.
• Develop outreach strategies to raise awareness of ExploR&D and TuneLab capabilities.
• Build a robust pipeline of prospects through ecosystem mapping, events, and referrals.
• Lead early conversations to understand scientific objectives and engagement opportunities.
• Shape customized engagements aligning company needs with ExploR&D expertise and digital solutions.
• Collaborate with Lilly Ventures, Gateway Labs, TuneLab, and SMEs to deliver coordinated support.
• Monitor biotech trends, founder needs, funding dynamics, and opportunities for strategy updates.
• Represent Catalyze360 at industry events to generate high-quality consulting leads.
