Job summary

This role partners with senior leadership to shape an enterprise information architecture and data strategy across a life sciences environment. It focuses on scalable data models, data products, and trusted analytics to support operational use cases.

Remote opportunity with compensation from $143,700 to $193,700 annually. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data architecture within pharma, and strong knowledge of data lakehouse, data mesh, and medallion patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Data Management, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data management, or analytics within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics initiatives.
• Experience with Clinical Development and R&D data domains.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including data lakehouse, data mesh, and medallion patterns.

For our client, we are seeking a Associate Director, Enterprise Information Architecture to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will help shape enterprise-wide data architecture strategy and support the scaling of modern information architecture practices across a complex life sciences environment. The position will partner closely with data, analytics, and business stakeholders to define reusable data models, enable trusted data products, and support analytics and operational use cases. It is a strong opportunity for an architecture leader who can translate business needs into scalable data solutions and help mature enterprise data capabilities.
