Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC is seeking an Associate Director, DSM to establish and lead operations for a defined functional area. You will align people, processes, and systems to meet delivery, compliance, and financial objectives while driving production performance and regulatory readiness.

You will develop frontline leaders, partner cross-functionally, own area KPIs and budget, and champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years biotech/pharma experience and prior people leadership.
• Experience leading managers/supervisors in a changing, project-driven environment.
• Direct experience with regulatory inspections, change control, KPIs, and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead area operations to meet production goals with schedule adherence.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and inspection readiness; lead regulatory inspections for the function.
• Develop supervisors and associate managers; coach performance and build succession pipelines.
• Partner with cross-functional groups to remove bottlenecks and drive investigations.
• Represent Manufacturing in client interactions and progress reviews.
• Execute other duties to support a project-driven operation.
